Hopefully they bring that functionality back in the future. Stats are comparable to the old app but I sure do miss the tips. All ready to go and was so disappointed the audio functions were completely gone. It is essentially the website in app form, but does include stat tracking and now friend finder which allows you to create a group and see where your people are on the mountain. So when getting ready for my return to Copper this season I looked into the resorts new app. It was such a different way of skiing and I loved it. Small trivia about the resort and food and beverage options. So when approaching a fork in the trail it would give you a brief description of the options. Tracked statistics for you and gave you location based audio tips. KIDS COURSE = 1.I haven’t been back to Copper Mountain since 2017, but one thing I definitely remembered was the Sherpa app. Elk Alley ends and merges with Red Tail (not signed) I ROAD will end with A ROAD directly in front of you! TAKE A HARD LEFT onto ELK ALLEY.ĭescend Elk Alley. There is a trail to your right! Stay straight. You will bike past A new Trail being built on your left. Once on I ROAD you will climb the two lane Road. You are biking between the lift and the restaurant. After you have completed this climb you will pop out by a ski lift and a restaurant. Trail is well defined (Just make sure you do not go on Colorado Trail). The Copper Mountain WSA encompasses 6,858 acres of BLM-administered land without any inholdings or split estate. You will climb Loose Moose for about 1.5 Miles. After the short climb, you will veer left into a rocky wooded climb. There are signs that show you to Loose Moose. You will have a short climb up a grassy/Rocky Two Track Road. There is a bridge on your left.Ī Road will end and you will veer left. You will bike past Cherokee Hiking Trail. Head straight/veer right on A Road (You will descend rather than climb). SMALL LOOP = 4.85 Miles and 1,031 Vertical Gain Start in front Duke’s just to the west of American Eagle chairĬlimb 3.6 miles via Ole Mt Road to A Road

If you have a number from a previous race this summer bring it with you. If you use this option YOU WILL STILL NEED TO PAY ON-SITE. Snowshoes are safer and required on trails in most of the winter months, as the snow keeps on falling. Unless a fresh, large snow has just settled in. However, the trek that I just described is where you’ll snowshoe. You can register via your smart phone or computer. Copper Mountain does offer guided snowshoe hikes with wonderful and friendly guides. Register on Race Day for $35 beginning at 4:00pm.
